We designed our NPSA Security Rated Personnel Doors to resist deliberate forced entry, blast, and ballistic attacks and they have a fire rating of 60 minutes integrity. They are approved for UK government use, and we have now enhanced their overall performance with the addition of an insulation rating for fire protection.
The doors have undergone rigorous testing in accordance with BS EN 1634-1: 2014 and A1:2018, ensuring their quality and reliability.
When fire testing was carried out on the door, it achieved not only the expected integrity rating—60 minutes—but it was also assessed for insulation, which resulted in an insulation rating of 30 minutes.
The radiated heat performance of these doors was also impressive, with less than 5kW/m2 throughout the test, this being the lowest threshold measured in standard testing
The doors are available in single-leaf and double-leaf configurations, as well as single swing with side and over panels to suit our clients’ needs. The maximum opening size is 2800mm x 2400mm, and the leaves are 90mm thick with a steel-clad box section framework.
They’re available in a range of finishes, including Colorcoat© sheets from a range of standard colours, galvanised steel or powder coated in a choice of RAL colours.
