Rhino Engineering Group opens new doors after securing certification

Rhino Engineering Group has been accredited with SSIP certification which confirms that the organisation is committed to, and has suitable arrangements in place for, protecting the health and safety of all who work for and with them.

SSIP stands for Safety Schemes in Procurement and is a mark of assurance for contractors working within the construction industry. SSIP assessments are all judged on core criteria approved by HSE.

Marked against these SSIP Core Criteria, Rhino Engineering Group had to demonstrate its policies and procedures for relevant operations across all of its three businesses – Rhino Doors, Rhino HySafe, and Rhino Site Systems Limited.

Jeremy Alston, SHEQ Manager at Rhino, said, “This new certification helps to demonstrate the focus we place on health and safety across all of our projects. Our activities demand a high level of focus and close scrutiny to ensure we’re providing the very best in the safest way possible.”

Rhino Engineering Group designs, manufactures, installs and maintains high-performance door sets and barriers, used by organisations across the world to protect from significant issues such as fires and blasts.

With operations in such significant and sensitive areas, the team at Rhino felt it appropriate to build on the ISO standards that they already work to.

This latest certification is part of Rhino’s ongoing dedication to providing the very best solutions for those they work with.
