Rhino completes Bank Station project following final inspection

Rhino Doors is pleased to report the completion of its work on Transport for London’s Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project, following a final inspection of all fire doors conducted by its sister firm, Rhino Site Systems.

Last month, Rhino Site Systems secured BM TRADA Q-Mark accreditation in recognition of the firm’s ongoing commitment to correctly installing and maintaining fire doors in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s guidelines.

BM TRADA, which is part of the Element Group, works with organisations across a range of different industries to certify that materials, products and processes are safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

As a widely recognised sign of achievement, Q-Mark accreditation is a quality mark for products, service and personnel, and supports organisations and their employees to demonstrate their dedication to upholding professional standards.

As such, Rhino’s work on the Bank Station contract has now been completed, with all 20 self-closing fire doors inspected and deemed fit for purpose in line with BM TRADA guidelines.

“After a demanding 18 months of work on this London Underground project, we’re doubly pleased – to see its completion, but also to see Rhino Site Systems’ new accreditation,” said Stuart Lawrence, Group Managing Director of Rhino Engineering Group.

“Receipt of this accreditation goes a long way in strengthening the Group’s broad service offering, positioning Rhino as a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of high-performance door systems.”

Paul Andrews, Managing Director of Rhino Site Systems, added: “This new accreditation provides another layer of assurance to our client base that the products they choose have been either installed or maintained correctly and are capable of performing to the highest standard.”
