Last month, Rhino Engineering Group was delighted to welcome Stephen Kinnock, Member of Parliament for Aberavon, to its manufacturing facility in Port Talbot, South Wales.
A passionate advocate for the growth of – and investment in – the manufacturing industry in South Wales, Kinnock received a tour of the facility from the Group’s senior leadership team to learn about the firm’s ongoing projects and product development.
Rhino Engineering Group is the parent company of high-performance door manufacturer, Rhino Doors; specialist door installation firm, Rhino Site Systems; and hydrogen sector specialist, Rhino HySafe.
From high-profile rail infrastructure projects for London Underground to an ongoing project to develop explosion relief products for the global hydrogen market, the Group has, in recent years, established itself as one of the UK’s leading manufacturing firms.
A steadfast champion of Port Talbot businesses and the wider community, last year Kinnock invited Rhino to donate to the Everyone Deserves a Christmas campaign, providing Neath Port Talbot residents with a helping hand during the holidays.
Stephen Kinnock, MP for Aberavon, said: “I was delighted that Rhino Engineering Group was able to donate to our Everyone Deserves a Christmas campaign last year.
“It was great to visit the company this year and learn more about the vital work that Rhino’s employees do to help build and protect Britain’s critical infrastructure.”
Stuart Lawrence, Group Managing Director of Rhino Engineering Group, added: “We’re very pleased to have welcomed Stephen to our manufacturing base in South Wales, sharing with him the history of the company and our exciting vision for its future.”
“It was great to show him around our workshop, providing an insight into the skill and experience of our team and their hard work in producing high-performance products for clients across the UK and around the world.”
