Rhino Doors to exhibit at InnoTrans 2022

August 23 2022

Rhino Doors, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance doors, will be exhibiting at this year’s InnoTrans, the world’s largest trade fair for the rail transport industry.

The fair, which has been hosted every two years since 1996, will take place next month, from Tuesday 20th September to Friday 23rd September at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s fair is the first since 2018 and more than 2,770 exhibitors from 56 countries are expected to be presenting their new products to attendees from around the world.

Divided into five segments – Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction – InnoTrans is one of the most important events in the transport technology calendar.

Following an invitation from the Welsh Government, Rhino will be exhibiting on the Wales Pavilion (Hall 23B at stand 340E) with five other Welsh businesses, including Asset International Structures and Flamgard Engineering.

Rhino has vast experience of working with organisations in the transport sector, including on major rail infrastructure projects in the UK and around the world.

In 2021, the company secured two contracts with Transport for London, supplying bespoke fire doors for Moorgate Station and Bank Station, the latter of which was part of the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade Project.

Rhino also supplied fire doors to protect maintenance workers during the construction of Crossrail Elizabeth Line, as well as for a major North American rail tunnel project.

Jon Walter, Managing Director of Rhino Doors, commented: “We’re thrilled to be attending this year’s InnoTrans, along with a host of brilliant Welsh businesses, representing the manufacturing excellence that our nation has to offer.

“Rhino has worked on a series of high-profile rail infrastructure projects over the last few years and we’re looking forward to showcasing our experience and range of high-performance products to leaders within the global rail industry.”
